Your website is a landing page that is focused on getting people to send you their contact information.  It has eye-catching graphics that make it clear how you can help them.

If you want, you can put your phone number at the top.  If you don’t want to include your phone number you don’t have to.

Where it says “Sample Judgment Site” you can put either the name of your business or a short message like “We Buy Judgments!”  You can put whatever you want there.

You’ll notice a box at the top of the site where people can fill in their name, e-mail, phone number and message and send it to you.  Their information will be sent to you by e-mail.  It will also be stored in a database on your site just in case you don’t get the e-mail or in case you prefer to manage your leads there rather than through e-mail.

When you scroll down the page, you’ll see this:

If the person visiting your website want a little more information, they can read about how you can help them and why they should contact you.  If you want, you can change the wording to say whatever you like.

The goal is to motivate the person to contact you.  Then, below the text you’ll see another brief form they can fill out to contact you:

It’s very simple.  It only asks for their name, e-mail, phone number and an optional short message.

Any time you have a website, it’s a good idea to have legal disclaimers to protect you.  Your website comes with pre-written disclaimers.  Since I’m not a legal expert, I recommend you have a lawyer in your area check them out to make sure everything is OK, but this will give you a good start.

So that’s what people will see when they come to your site.

But how do you get the leads that come in?

Well, first of all, when someone fills out a form on your website you’ll receive an e-mail with their details.  But you can also log in to the control panel of your website and view your leads there.

When you click to view your leads, you’ll see this:

You can see all of the information the person sent and you can even add notes at the bottom for your own records.  For instance, you could add a note saying you tried calling this person and left a voice mail, or a note saying you need to call this person, etc.  You can even have the notes you make sent to your e-mail.  If you want to print out your leads, you can do so from here too.

I mentioned earlier that you can change a lot of things on your website.  As you can see here, you can change the text that shows up at the top of your site:

You can have a brief message like “We Buy Judgments” or you can put the name of your business.  You can also change the e-mail address here where your leads are sent.

Can I change the wording?

You bet.  The wording is easy to change:

It’s basically just like using a program like Microsoft Word or even sending an e-mail.  If you can send an e-mail, you can probably handle editing your web site.  You just click and type.  You can make the text bold, italic, underlined, a different color, etc.  You can even insert photos if you like or a YouTube video.

At the top of your site there is a spot for a phone number.  You can put in your phone number or remove it altogether if you don’t want people calling:

When you get a website, at first you’ll have a temporary website address, but you’ll probably want to get your own domain name (, which will make it easier to get people to your website.  Using your own domain name is easy:

Advanced Features

The following features are a little more technical so if you understand them, you’ll be glad to know they’re there.  If you feel lost, don’t worry, you don’t have to use these features and your site will work just fine.

There are a number of settings available that you can tweak to optimize your site for search engines.

Send Leads to Email Autoresponder Services

If you want, you can have leads automatically sent to an email autoresponder service so you can have e-mails sent out automatically to your leads.  This also allows you to send out e-mail “blasts” or broadcasts to your whole list.

To use this feature, you just enable the autoresponder add-on you want to use:

Currently, the autoresponder services that are supported are:  Aweber, Campaign Monitor, and MailChimp.  MailChimp is a nice option because you can start out for free.  You’ll need to check their website to see exactly what they are currently offering, but for years now they have offered a free plan that allows you to have up to 2,000 leads/subscribers and send out up to 12,000 e-mails per month.  This is a great way to get started without spending a lot.  If you get over 2,000 leads you can upgrade to one of their paid plans.
